Christy + Amir | Wedding at The Shambles at Headhouse Square and Barbuzzo
It's been an absolute pleasure getting to know Christy and Amir over the year leading up to their wedding. The process could not have gone smoother because of Christy's impeccable planning and Amir's thoughtful touches for the day. They planned a wedding that was very unique and personal with pieces of Amir's beautiful Persian culture.
Bride and groom preparations were small and intimate at the Warwick Hotel at Rittenhouse Square. The weather was amazing so we planned for the first look at the textured Mitchell and Ness building located directly in front of the hotel. We then meandered through Philadelphia's beautiful 18th Century Garden for some pre-wedding photos. It is a very amazing feeling to feel like you are alone in such a large city...but that was exactly how it felt with Christy and Amir.
We continued through the city dipping into small alleyways until we finally arrived at The Shambles at Headhouse Square...and then a torrential rain that we haven't seen in a while arrived...and it didn't matter one bit! Christy's grace and Amir's stoicism played perfectly until the rain subsided.
The ceremony was sincere, thoughtful, meaningful and filled with love from everyone present. As if that wasn't treat enough, dinner at the amazing Barbuzzo followed. We were treated to lots of laughs and love and sincere speeches and some dancing. It was truly an amazing night!
