Warmth, generosity, love, kindness, compassion, family...these are the first words that come to mind when thinking about Alexandra and Alex...and these qualities were on full display with every greeting, conversation, embrace, glance, and joke. The grace and ease at which Alexandra and Alex are fully present for the people they love most is inspiring. This allows people to be truly themselves. And that equation has lead to a life of great relationships thus far!
Their wedding day was nothing short of remarkable! Wedding preparations took place at the luxurious Four Seasons Hotel in Philadelphia. Members of the bridal party were so relaxed and at ease that it made photographing such an event a pure joy! While there were countless nuanced moments subtle moments, it was quite a treat to watch Alexandra's bridal party see her for the first time in her STUNNING dress (see the photo below).
Alexandra and Alex opted for a "first look". Wow. What a reveal! We lucky enough to have it take place on the beautiful 60th Floor of the Four Seasons Hotel. Alexandra and Alex spent some time connecting with one another while we were able to take some photos in such a unique space. We then reunited with the entire bridal party on the terrace of the Four Seasons Grand Ballroom for some portraits before heading over to the The Cathedral Basilica of Saints Peter and Paul where they were to be married in front of their closest friends and family.
After the ceremony, family and friend were invited to an intimate small sit down dinner at the wonderful Merion Cricket Club. The event was lowkey. Guests were treated with several heartfelt sincere speeches that really allowed us all to hear so many great stories about Alexandra and Alex. It was an honor watching all of the smiling faces through my viewfinder as they connected with one another with Alexandra and Alex as their common bonds.
Amazing day with amazing people...what else can be better!
Special thanks to my long-time friend Katie Merkle for shooting this one with me.
And thank you to the wonderful team that we worked with for this glorious day!
